Liat Hughes Joshi is a London-based journalist, author and commentator.

She has written five parenting books, including 5-Minute Parenting Fixes (Summersdale), New Old-fashioned Parenting (Summersdale),  How to Unplug Your Child (Summersdale), and Raising Children: The Primary Years (Pearson/ Prentice Hall Life). Extracts have featured in the likes of the Daily Mail and The Daily Telegraph and foreign editions have been published in China, Italy, India, Romania, Portugal, Slovakia, the U.S. and more.

Liat has contributed to many national and international publications ranging from The Daily Telegraph, The Sun, The Guardian and The Sunday Times to leading magazines and websites.

As an experienced media commentator, she appears regularly on Sky News, LBC and Good Morning Britain and has also featured on Channel 5 News, ITV News, This Morning, BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 4 and 5 and BBC regional radio stations.
